the toddler park is tricky to find (closer to homestead on kiely) but fun for little ones. Water table is great for hot days. Swings, climber, sand, water, and rocking animals. Gets a cool breeze in the afternoons and shade.

Always crowded on a nice day but there's tons to do. There's a Frisbee Golf course and lots of mountain biking trails. Great paved walking trail and several athletic fields. And of course playgrounds and picnic areas. There's a rec center with basketball courts and a weight room, fitness room (they have fitness classes), and an indoor walking track. There are art and dance studios where both children's and adult classes are held.

A visit to Central Park costs nothing and gives visitors a real feel for the city. Plus, it's a great place for kids to run off steam. There are street performers to watch, rocks to climb, and ball games to join. More at Travelmamas: http://bit.ly/cEI9C2

There are miles of trails and paths in the park to walk, run, or bike. Take a carage ride, visit the zoo, go to Strawberry Fields. Visit Magnolia's Bakery and walk off the cupcake in the park
