    FREE 350,000 SQ FT museum of exhibit space. Visit this historical museum if you have time, or make it your number one priority. Spend a morning or afternoon here, exploring many facets of aviation history. There is also a space exhibit and a restaurant on premises if you need to refuel.

    A pizza restaurant that serves a wide variety of delicious pizzas in addition to pastas, Italian specialities, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. Kids and adults will both be happy with the selections. An original restaurant enjoyed both by locals and tourists.

    A family tradition for many years. A cozy yet open eatery built over the water. Pure and simple, with friendly service. The kids will be entertained by walking on the giant decks that encapsulate the restaurant. Sit at the oyster bar and enjoy watching the oyster shucking, first hand.

  • Gulf Shores Park

    This is a system of greenways connecting Orange Beach & Gulf Shores to the beautiful Gulf Shores Park. It is a wonderful trail system to bike ride as a family. Choose from 14 miles of paved paths in 6 different ecosystems. We took the Rosemary Dune Trail which leads to a Butterfly Garden and Boulder Park, a climbing rock play area. The path is flanked by a pine forest. The trail passes through an alligator viewing swamp. We encountered vibrant dragon flies, a gopher tortoise, and butterflies.

  • Lulu's Restaurant

    Situated by a marina and is a complex with restaurants, live music, hula hoops, and balls in large sandy outdoor play area. It is also a farm to table restaurant, started by Lulu Buffet, the sister of musician Jimmy Buffet.

  • Estuarium at the Dauphine Island Sea Lab

    A research based museum featuring the unique wildlife of this estuary habitat. Experience films, exhibits, and hands on stations with sea creatures. Complete the visit thru a salt marsh via a stroll on the boardwalk outside.

  • Fort Morgan

    If you are history buffs or have children that enjoy studying the American Civil War, this is a must see. Located on the tip of the Fort Morgan Peninsula, across from the ferry port. Fort Morgan is a historical settlement with original buildings. You can explore the large fortifications, bunkers, and tunnels. They have an excellent gift shop and museum building on site, as well.

  • Mobile Bay Ferry

    Ferries run across Mobile Bay connecting the Fort Morgan Peninsula and Dauphine Island. The trip is about 40 minutes. The ferry is great for bird watching and dolphin spotting.

  • Discovery Park of America

    This is an innovative and fun museum. The 100,000 SF building and 200FT observation tower is a blast.
    We enjoyed riding the elevator to the top of the tower and walking on the glass panels. The indoor sculpture was cool to slide down onto the main floor.
    Impressive exhibits in science, nature, history, art, and technology.

  • Picasso Pizzeria

    Creative gourmet pizzeria for the entire family. The restaurant offers original entrees, salads, calzones, sandwiches, and kid choices. Nice place with featured artists art work on display.

    Amazing park on water front with great picnic pavillions. Futuristic playground includes interactive sensor game for tech families. Modern design has cool climbing and spinning equipment.

    Check out this local seafood joint off the beaten path in Orange Beach. Relaxed, family friendly and has the best gumbo. Delicious create your own seafood platters too!

  • Maggianos's Little Italy

    Very lovely place with a traditional atmosphere. Spacious and open, yet cozy. Great Italian menu favorites with excellent kid options. Our boys immensely enjoyed the long rectangular flat bread pizzas that were delivered on boards.
    Rustic bread and olive oil were a hit with everyone. Wonderful service and knowledgeable about food allergies.

  • Memphis Botanic Gardens

    Visit this garden of over 30 acres comprised of many smaller gardens and ponds. There is a fabulous interactive childrens' garden for exploring. A leaping lawn, treetop houses, raindrop station, tunnels, and creek are one of many places to visit. A wizard garden is coming this Spring. Also not to be missed is the Japanese Garden, pond and bridge.

    Pick up donuts and hot coffee. Great for Mom, Dad, and the kids. Love the new healthy options.

The shop is very friendly and provides samples of all available flavors. Enjoy the clean and bright decor or cater in for parties. Checkout the website for a variety of frozen treats.

    Golf & Games Family Park is a Memphis favorite for all ages. There are Putt-Putt courses, an extensive arcarde and sky ropes trail, laser tag, driving range, go-karts, batting cages, Battle Zone, bumper boats, and kiddie rides. br /The park also has an indoor snack bar and seating area. The facility is also a great place for birthday parties and special events. The interior is clean with colorful decor and murals. A friendly staff is an added bonus.

  • Pink Palace Museum

    A memphis landmark and museum is over 170,000 square feet. The museum houses a planetarium, IMAX theatre and cultural, science, and history exhibits. The Pink Palace also has a restaurant and gift shop. First Floor features natural history exhibits and on the Second Floor you will find cultural history of the Mid-South Region. Also on the Second Floor is the original mansion featuring Memphis history. Check the website for new exhibits and IMAX film showtimes.
    Favorites are the miniature Clyde Parke Circus and Dinosaurs.

Pay for a food & fun combo and prepare to have non-stop fun. If the kids can wait have a bite and then hit the arcade, mini-golf, go-karts, bumper cars, or bowling. There is also a play area for little kids. br /The restaurants has many themed dining rooms to choose from. Buffet options include custom pizzas, pasta & salad bars, potatos, tacos/nachos, hot dogs and a dessert bar. Kids enjoy getting self-serve icecream for dessert. Incredible Pizza also offers a to-go menu.
