They go for the pumpkins, the hayrides and all the good fresh air! If you are looking for a great kid friendly day this is the place to go! For more info and places to go check out www.atlmomguide.com

  • Chehaw

Voted best family campground by Nickelodeon this place has everything from BMX, a great playground, a train you can ride and even a ZOO! Find out more at www.atlmomguide.com

  • Deer Lick Park

This park may be a bit of a drive but is definitely worth the trip because they have something for everyone! From batting cages and putt putt (for $2!), a skate park and a playground, to disc golf and a dog park like I said...this place has EVERYTHING

  • Center for Puppetry Arts

This is NOT the kind of puppet show YOU remember! The puppeteers make your kids favorite stories come to life in these full stage productions. After the show you can head up stairs to the puppet workshop and make your own puppet from the show! Don't forget to check out the Jim Henson exhibit and the puppet museum...all of which is included in admission!

  • Glazy Dazy Pottery Painting Studio

This is the BEST place I have found to paint pottery. The prices are great with no hidden fees and the selection of items to paint are fantastic! We go here for all the major holidays to make gifts and they are always loved. Shea the owner has also started canvas painting classes and parents night out!

  • Children's Museum of Atlanta

My kids are 8, 6, and 2 and they were all happy and playing right up until we made them leave. They spent quite a bit of time in each area. Our favorites include the science guy that came out and did experiments, an elaborate ball area with air pushing balls through different sorts of piping, the water area, and of course a train area for our little guy. The museum was priced reasonable, but I don't think they should charge for a two year old. See more at Atlanta Mothers Guide: http://bit.ly/c0AgwE

  • Georgia Aquarium

If you like sharks you will LOVE this exhibit! It was very DRAMATIC from the mood lighting to the music. It felt like the sharks could hop off the walls at any minute. The exhibit was filled with anything and everything you ever wanted to know about sharks! See more at Atlanta Mothers Guide: http://bit.ly/ds1x4U

  • Studio Movie Grill

Haven't been there yet, but I did check out the website and it seems pretty cool. They have all the new movies AND you can eat while you watch. Waiters wait on you during the movie and they offer a full menu complete with kids menu and adult beverages. See more at Atlanta Mothers Guide to Fun, Fellowship and Sanity: http://bit.ly/dk1iam

  • Glazy Dayz

Our new favorite place! We like to go and hang out with the cool owner and PAINT until our arms hurt...br /I can imagine it would be the perfect place for adult girls night out...but I usually end up with the little ones! See more at Atlanta Mothers Guide: http://bit.ly/aCyPOPbr /

  • Pinkberry

The trendiest Ice Cream (frozen yogurt?) shop Pinkberry has opened its FIRST store in Georgia on and it just happens to be near me! It is the BEST THING EVER.

  • Gretchen's Childrens Shop

Great customer service -they asked what sizes I was looking for and even helped me search the racks. It was like having your own personal shopper! Plus despite the fact I was shopping with a 7,4, and 3 year old they were overly accommodating and even had a section of toys the kids could play with and a kid size shopping cart.

  • Chipotle Mexican Grill

The only thing Chipotle has been missing is a meal for the little ones but now it's HERE! Chipotle has just announced that the Atlanta area stores are unveiling kids meals!

  • Center for Puppetry Arts

They transformed the entire stage into a scene from "The Land Before Time" and had the coolest puppets you can imagine including dinosaur body puppets. It was the BEST puppet show I had ever seen! We have been members for a couple of years and have never been disappointed at a show.
